JOIN OUR PROJECT!

We are looking for youth partners for our research project on climate emotions.

We are recruiting youth partners for a participative youth project on how to support youth who experience climate emotions. By climate emotions, we mean emotions such as fear, anxiety, worry and concern when thinking of the climate crisis. Our youth co-researchers will play an integral role in the development of the research project and guiding the creation of a toolkit on dealing with climate emotions. They will also guide what this toolkit consists of (e.g., website, infographics, social media posts, comic book) and with whom we share the toolkit.

We have two types of positions available:

1) Co-Researchers (2-4 positions available)

  • Tasks:

    • The co-researchers will be key players in all of the steps of the project. They will contribute to the research design and analysis, as well as help create and share the toolkit to support youth who experience climate emotions. They also will participate in steering group meetings.

    • The co-researchers will be expected to work approximately 15 hours/month, with flexible work arrangements.

  • Eligibility:

    • Reside in Canada;

    • Be aged between 18 and 25 years old.

  • We are looking for individuals:

    • With lived experiences pertaining to climate emotions;

    • With strong communication and interpersonal skills;

    • Who are able and eager to work as a team;

    • Who are excited to learn and contribute to youth mental health.

2) Youth Advisory Council (up to 10 positions available):
